4.0 to 5.0 carb

my 4.0 is shot and so aint the a4ld tranny, so im lookin into doin a carbeurated 302 ive never done a motor swap so im lookin forward to it. my question is what wires should i keep since the motor will be carbed?

Leave them all. Once its up and running with everything working the way you want removed what's not needed.

I bought an EVTM (vehicle specific wiring diagram, usually cheap on ebay), took out the mainharness and went from there. Knew what was required, referenced the manual on best place to get there, and came out with pretty clean wiring planning ahead of time.
