People like me get fawking irritated with CEL's and timing changes. That's why I suggested a manual ECU.

I ran my BII with an Auto computer for a few months, and yeah it ran, but with some annoyances.

I ran my BII with an Auto computer for a few months, and yeah it ran, but with some annoyances.

I don't like it either but when it takes months to find the right ECU at the wreckers your left with what you have, and make due.

But if your just swapping and trying to get the thing working and running the auto ECU will work. Look for the right one when you have time.

I walked around the junk yard for 3 hours yesterday, finally found a computer for the 4.0 with manual out of an exploder, but i couldnt find one in a ranger at all. nearly all the explorers was automatics, that should tell you something about the autos..lol
