4.0 supercharger on 3.0

I was wondering if anyone knew of a kit or a way to retro fit a 4.0 blower on a 3.0?

whipple was the only company that made a kit for the 3.0...and they have been out of production for a number of years. used kits can still be had, but at a premium.

im sure a 4.0 blower could be retrofitted with enough fab work...just depends on how much time/money you have (its not going to just bolt on).

super-chicken (t-bird) supers are a pretty common one to use for low boost (9 PSI).

is the tbird s/c bolt on or does it need a retro fit kit or a custom fab to work?

no, the whipple is the ONLY one that just bolts on. anything else requires some fab work.
