4.0 SOHC in a 88 B2

Newbie here on this site and I did a search and couldn't find if someone has done this. I have a donater vehicle and want to do it and keep the heater/AC box (looks like it might be tight on right valve cover). If someone has put a SOHC into a B2 or early Ranger please let me know so I'm not spinning my wheels.
