4.0 enginge trans removeal

I am going to R&R the engine and trans on my 93 ranger 4x4 4.0. Can I pull the engine an trans as a unit or will I have to remove one at a time.

be better off splitting them.

Either way, remove the water pump and fan, the radiator, and everything else that might get in your way, off the front of the motor before you lift.
