So I seem to be having some bad luck with batteries. I realized the other week that my starting issues are at least partly related to a weak battery. So I left it sit for a week and a half while I was away and came home, nothing. It was dead.:annoyed:

So when I got to work yesterday I ordered up a new one. Parts guy gives me a Fusion battery, but I say Ok, I'll give it a shot. Get it home, it's just all sorts of wrong. Too fat, too short, too weak, didn't even take the caps off the terminals.:annoyed::annoyed:

So I took it back and had him order me the proper battery this morning. Bring it home, hook it up...... nothing. :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

Now I'm starting to worry that its not my batteries, its my truck. So I turn the Escape around and hook them up for a little transfusion and it fired right up. Hopefully the 3rd battery is the charm.

I'm gonna go pet my bunny now

dont pet him too hard

hook the bunny up to the battery and see what happens that will quickly tell you if the problem is your truck.....:-)

Ha, I think I have a better chance of starting the truck by putting the rabbit in a large hamster wheel and trying to power the truck that way.:icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

Rabbit? No, you're thinking way to small. You may need a great dane running on a wheel to get that thing started. Either that or a couple of electric eels named "Positive" and "Negative!"

Give the bunny a little drum and let it start your truck.

3rd times a charm.

It worked for the aliens.

Twisted mind but I was hoping it was a female "Bunny" with two legs. Been a long, hot day.

Thats exactly what I was thinkin! but with a little more nose wiggle and a little less drums.:icon_bounceblue:

So anyway, does anyone happen to know what it means when the Micro 490 just kicks back into the first screen when you try to test the battery?

Got it fixed though.
