32 or 33's OK with 3.73's on a 4.0?

96 ranger (4.0L auto 327's [back when i had em]) had plenty of power with 35" BFG MT's, but mpg's were around 11 and slightly slower taking off, but still had power to pull a car trailer, I jumped up to 16-17 when I went to 456's...

I'm 99.9% sure that when it's leveled it will fit 33's no problem. The tire will only be about 1 1/8" closer to the fender wells (current tires are 30.65"). I do have an automatic, so I think it will be a little easier for it to turn bigger tires. They should clear fine, shouldn't they?

Gribly, thank you for mentioning the Explorer. I forgot my Explorer was running 31's with a 3.55 rear and a manual. I didn't really notice a difference IIRC.
