302 swap

first of all my 2.9 sucks and ticks like crazy. i have a 2 barrel 302 that i pulled from a 86 f150. its not the original engine i really have no idea where it came from. but i was wondering if its worth swapping into my 87 super cab. the thing im most worryed about is how i can put it in and still have 4wd. what should i do?

You have to use a v-8 trans.
If you use a c-4 you can adapt a Ranger transfercase a couple different ways.
If you use an AOD you will have to use a 1/2 ton transfercase but, You would have overdrive. You would also have to fab a T.V. cable bracket.
There are many other choices as well.
The exhaust, radiator, and heater housing are the hardest parts.
