the tri-y's work ok on a 4x4? I was under the impression they were being used on 2wd trucks.

Tri-Y's run into interference issues with the transfer case and the drivers side header. I suppose if one were hady with a welder, and pipe bending, that might be resolved, but I've never done a 4wd.
