302 EFI / 86 Ranger: Clearance Issues, Mount Height, PICS please help

Yep. Use the left one on the right and the right one on the left.

They are for a convertable Mustang (with a fabric top that goes up and down :D)

They should be available at just about any parts store. :icon_thumby:

Lol, thanks, and thanks bigblock. Could we narrow it down a bit more? What year mustang? What engine? (I'm assuming 302)

Mid-to-late '80s Convertible 'Stang 5.0L mounts will work. Probably in stock at one of your local auto parts stores for about $40. Swap 'em side-for-side, as BigBlockRanger stated. Do a search here (TRS), and at RPS, for: "Vert Mounts". Much has been posted on this topic, including pics. A search will show about 8 more threads on TRS for "Vert Mounts", and several pages of threads come up on RPS.

These aren't focused solely on "Verts", but they are 2 in my list of subscribed threads:

I've obviously been a proponent of the adapter plates. But - if I was gonna' do it again, I might use the "Vert Mounts" for simplicity.
