30 inch tires on a B2

will they fit without a lift? i'm looking at it, and it looks like they should fit just fine.
i won't be doing any hard core offroading untill i get the minor body lift i have planned, so for just mild driving right now, it should fit, right?


if i'm wrong, what's the biggest size that WILL fit?

minor fender trimming might be needed, but yes, its a good fit. worked well for me, and no need to regear

should be able to i have 30s had to trim but if ur springs ain't sagging really bad should be ok but they will rub no enuf to damage anything tho

also depends on tire width and wheel offset to. 30x9.5 is what i had on but i had a wierd offset that required me to use my sawsall!!!

30x9.50x15 tires will fit on an 89 or 90 with no clearance problems even with saggy springs. 235/75/15s will also work (most 30's are rebadged 235's)

On the 83-88 style, it becomes a lil more sketchy. Back should be fine, but the front may or may not rub depending on the condition of your springs. If it does rub in the front, it will be the lower corner of the wheel arch opening by the door on each side. A minor nip and tuck would be required in that case. Tony Raine did that to his BII and did a really good job, but I don't remember exactly how he said he did it.

i got some 235/75/15s as they were about 40 dollars less per tire with the same tread pattern.

will put up pictures once i wash the truck.

my back end was sagging BAD in my b2.. threw some explorer leafs and coils in and boom 31's!

cost me $150 for the springs and the work to get a shop to flip the center bolt and add new bushings to the leaf springs... (i was WAY to lazy and they were rusted BAD)

I always just used a cold chisel and BFH to remove badly rusted center bolts, lol.

Got 30's on mine w the saggin leaf springs. The only time it rubs is when I'm loaded down w something. Gettin ready for some new springs.
