I have a 1987 Ranger supercab 4x4,w/ a 2.9l efi and a 5-speed.I want to put a 1986 Cougar 3.8l carburated auto rwd engine into my ranger. Can I keep the stick shift tranny in the truck? Will the motor mounts line up? Will there be any wiring issues? i believe the heads are bad on my ranger and I had an accident with the cougar
