3/4 drop on an '86

They will. I have the +/-2 degree bushings from Napa. I would look into getting more adjustment for doing a coil and beam drop.

What this guy is trying to figure out is what he can do for now. He wants to to lower it, but not get the beams just yet. There's nothing wrong with doing that.

So, cut coils and flipped shackles sounds like the thing to go with for now. The other stuff can wait until later when the money rolls in.

for the amount of drop he wants then the adjustable bushing wouldnt work, they only work for up to a 2" difference from stock, thats why i suggested running a 2" drop spring and the flip kit, he would still be able to maintain proper camber without runnin ricer camber

how about anyone with pics of dropped 1st gen raners put them up with drop size that would be helpful to see how big or small is i really want because if it's going to be really expensive then i'll just go as low as i want the first time and save money for school bills. Thanks

I'm just wondering around so don't mind me but don't they make drop spindles for these trucks? My friends 81 chebbie has em and they were cheap.

Nope, no drop spindles for our Rangers. I don't think the newer ones (a-arm suspension) even have that option.

i guess that kit would work my freind did a 2in drop spring and shackle flip with belltech shackles and got 2/4ish outta it on my 92 im running 5/8 and i could tuck 18s no problem and they didnt even rub so you could probably do that kit and roll 20's no prob at least thats what i would do.
