3.0 mods?

i know that with the 2.3 you can install a turbo and the 4.0 you can get a S/C...but what about the 3.0??????

thats a piece of $hit. Its an electric fan...it blows air into the intake, not compressing it. TOTAL waste of money.

Best place for performance for the 3.0 is Tom Moran Racing (the link is under performance tab in the tech section). I am looking at the larger TB plus the upper and lower intake manifolds as well. Dual exhaust is nice too. I love mine.

Don't waste your time with little upgrades to the engine. You'll be out alot of money with little to no gain.

Change the rear axle ratio to a lower, numerically higher, gear ratio and let it spin.

Other than that, FORD already made the best performance upgrade for a 3L......

another question...can the explorer 4.0 intake tubes work on the 3.0?

Yes, but you have to swap out the heads, block, and crank case for 4.0 parts as well.
