3.0 Flowmaster Super 44

Seriously? That's my only problem? I'm going to be pissed if it is! lol. Is it going to ruin my brake lines or parking brake cable from the heat coming out of the exhaust being dumped onto that shit? Or should it be alright. Still though, the Thrush welded is loud as hell.

Dumped is perfectly fine and perfectly safe on your vehicles components(although, my used to be shiney passengerside bilstein is now black. lol). I've been dumped for more than two years up until two weeks or so ago when I re-did my setup(again! lol). Add a turndown on the muffler outlet and it gets alot quieter and more livable.

Reason it's so loud is that the soundwaves are bouncing off of everything and resonating into the cab because the exhaust has no real outlet from out and under the vehicle. Add a tailpipe....it'll be quiet in the cab, and nice and loud and mean but good sounding outside(like say, the S10 or Tacoma following you).

Ya I don't have anything after the muffler. I'm thinking about just having a muffler shop do it. Is the Super 44 quieter than the thrush? If so I may have to swap.
