3.0 Engine n (auto) Trans Swaps???

I have a 95 4x4 with a 3.0 n a Auto..
I have a Slippin trans.. (only if was 4.0)
My Engine n Trans have 175+ miles..

I want to know if a Motor n Trans
from a 1990 to a 2000 will work..
I just want to know what other
years I can Search/look at..

Lookin for a Full Swap.. I dont want
to have to Redo Trans or motor Mounts,
Wires or a Ton of Crap.. One or Two
wires ok.. Transfer Case bolt up to..

I am just wrapping up a similar project, and apparently all 3.0 blocks are the same with small variations to accessories which can be switched from old block, the trans however, is more specific to the varied years of the trucks, given different electronics and stuff. A Taurus block is also the same block fyi. As far as 4wd, I can tell you nothing.
