3.0 Died after 115,000 miles

I had the plug ceramic center blow out on a 5 ton truck I had bought several years ago (not Bosch). Luckily I was on the way to the dealer at the time and so I just ran it with the piston blowing compression out the spark plug hole. It was easy to fix as the hex part of the plug was still threaded in. I also had a non Bosch ceramic tip break on a chain saw but when you removed the plug and turned the plug tip side up to inspect the ceramic slide back down the electrode so you could not tell it was broken. Drove me nuts for a while because I could not figure out why the saw would not start. Once I turned the plug tip side down I saw immediately what was wrong.
