I wish I could but I don't really have the funds for that right now and I dont think that would improve fuel mileage especially if you got a lead foot in fast trucks like me lol. If I keep this truck for a while and end up getting another daily driver i'm going to eventually do that

Yup i hear ya. ive had my 3.0 for 3 years.... and i was finally Fed up with the 3.0 this summer, it did me fine, but i cant tow much, never could, especially now with the 33'' tires. so i thought hey lets get a new truck, but i dont want the payment, i found a cheap car, grandparents gave me, so i should be able to do the 5.0 swap over the winter, ill let you know if its worth it lol...

Ive never modded my 3.0 i just drove it and it had 4.10's

I just did the throttle mod about 5 minutes ago. It took me literally 2 minutes I grabbed the zip ties and cutters went to my truck slapped two zip ties on the throttle cable cut the zip ties and then I cranked up my truck. I can tell you the throttle response is 10 times better than it was before in the 2 minutes and maybe 50 cents worth of plastic ive ever used.
