Hi all,

I have a '93 2wd 2.3L Ranger that I want to upgrade to the same ride height and look as a similar year 4X4 Ranger. I may also plan on doing something with the differential (some sort of locker?) at some point as well.

I will not be doing any serious off roading, maybe some gravel roads in the hills, but would like a little more height clearance. I have determined that the stock 4X4 Ranger tire is a 235/75/15. Other than converting to these tires and rims, what else will I need to do? I want to keep the 2wd factory ride that I have also, nothing stiffer.

Again, no serious off roading involved here. I want to stay on the road and not get stuck when driving in the hills on gravel roads, and want a 4X4 look and height, just don't need 4wd.

Thanks for your help.

do can use a block lift for the rear if you havent done that already, or use shackles. those would be the easiest considering you have to take the rear axle and leafs apart to change out leaf springs.

for the front i think if you add taller coil springs your camber and toe will be off so you'll need camber correcting bushings, or you can get a drop down kit for the 2wd beams.. essentially just bring the mounting pivot point of the beams so the taller spring coil isnt messin your camber up.

Lockers are always fun but $$ pricey
