2nd gen front recovery points


I took this picture back when this thread was active but haven't hooked the phone to the computer since I don't think or forgot to grab it, whatever... This is what I've done, as you can see by the angle of the hook it isn't exactly recommended as is but it's happy where it is and has done work so yeah... that said I don't have a stock bumper, it's some channel iron thing the previous owner of the frame made up that I wasn't against so I kept it... in general I put a strap through that hole in the bumper and to the hook which keeps it hooked...

Seems like that would tear up straps quickly. Not doubting that it works.
 
Well, I don't get stuck often and pulling in reverse isn't good so I don't do it much either... depending on the angle I'll go there or under, if a similar height rig is pulling me out it really isn't that bad... not saying it's good but you do what ya gotta do :)
