24 Hours of LeMons, Community project!

I was thinking about it, and i want to build a truck for the 24 hours of LeMons race in houston later this year.

I'll need at least 4 other drivers and somebody who knows a thing or two about safety cages, but i think I (or we) could do this.

i found a ranger sans engine and tranny for 150, and i've got an 88 crashed in the back yard with good running gear, so i think it could be made to work within the 500 dollar limit.

What do you guys think?
