2150 Carb

Hi All, can the feedback 2150 on my '85 be used with the duraspark conversion? If not, do all 2150 carbs fit the 2.8 intake? Meaning, if I order a 2150 carb for a 302, will it fit my 2.8 and work for the duraspark conversion? Please and thank you.

The stock carb works fine with a duraspark conversion, you just need to remove the mixture control from the back of the carb and replace it with a manual metering block. It can be easily made with hand tools from a multitude of materials. I believe the instructions for building one are somewhere in the tech library but I'm not sure where.

The 302 carb you order must have a 1.08 venturi anything larger will never tune up properly also if you change the jet size to #43 or #45 your fuel economy and upper end performance will greatly improve.
