21 days till it's done. Adios US Rangers.

NO big deal? considering this is a ranger forum and the rangers are discontinued, we'll always be stuck discussing old news! I think that if anyone likes rangers enough to join a ranger based forum, it's probably a big deal haha.

Just sayin...

Most of the people on this forum have Rangers that are 10-25 years old so who is going to care....they'll just dump time and money into keeping their old antique Ranger trucks alive. The automotive world evolves and something better will be down the road. You have a 95 so how does this effect you anywho.

Move to another country. The Ranger has been on the way out for a while now here in the USA. We all know of this. No big deal. We will survive.

I heard that the new Ford Fiestas made in Mexico can drive across rivers and scale fences and dig tunnels under them. Included in the Owner's manuals are locations of all the Social Security offices in the US!:icon_rofl:

Ford should've just kept the Ranger updated the interior and drivetrains for a couple years. Probably wouldn't meet future safety requirements for long I'm sure but I can dream about 32+ mpg 4 banger with 150% the power of mine, or a 5.0 6-speed stick sport truck. A minimal investment for easily best in class power and mpg. Also not a fan of the size or styling of the new Ranger.

Luckily mine should be good for another 70k or so, maybe some manufacturer will come to their senses by then.

I will have mine forever, but if something happens to it (god forbid) I will probably not end up getting another one. They make good daily drivers, but can't haul much without squatting a ridiculous amount in the rear.

I switched to explorer due to lack of a 4.0 tranny around me.

They well make another one I'm sure just gonna take it away to artificially create the market again. Anyways a diesel ranger would be epic. I know they exist but I mean a common one.

I'd rock this.....

Someone at work had one and said it didnt have enough power to get otu of its own way, but it was pretty tough. I would love to have one.

Those rampages are ugly ass trucks haha

That isnt a truck. Thats a wrong wheel drive appliance with the back cut off. What got me really interested with Rangers was when I saw one with a 47 Dodge pickup cab on one. Then , I started seeing Rangers with tonneaus. A modern 3 window coupe. My rat is an extended cab, with a tonneau, so its a 5 window. A small cab, 4.0 ohv, 5 speed is gonna be on my shopping list. Then a glass 3 window kit for a body :yahoo:
