Seasoned lamb with cucumber sauce (Tzaki or however it’s spelled), some onions… good stuff. Traditionally it is strips of seasoned lamb with Tzaki, lettuce, onions, and tomato on a pita. Great fair food. I’ve had it done as a wrap (much easier to eat), and I’ve had it done as a burger. I can probably get some burgers.

In Tallahassee, most people don't pronounce the "H" so it sounds like "E-row". I've herd it called a "Jie Roe" "Jee Roe" "Hi-Ro", AND "Hero", but to me a "hero sandwich" = "sub" type
