2018 Fusion....is this normal?

Im cruising around in the wifes car today (2018 Fusion SE, 2.5L 62000MI) its 100* so i got the AC cranked.

Anyways...i stopped to run into her work and grab her paycheck...i let it idle and when i hopped out i heard the Efan running...ok airs on...but then i heard it kick into some kinda super sonic mode where it literally sounded like it was gonna take flight. It did that for a few seconds then went off. I heard it again on my way out....so im assuming it cycles this way?

Ive had very few vehicles with Efans but i know my vic has 2speeds...slow and fast...but it doesnt just cycle out of fast after a couple seconds.

No lights or nothing on...temp is fine. I just am curious cause if its an issue she'll end up overheating it if it gets worse

yep normal, the fans kicked into high gear, my F150 sounds like a jet when the fans are singing at full song

Gotta be loud to move as much air sitting still as you'd get at 65mph. When I was working on the fan on my sister's Camaro, surprised me when it was in neutral on level ground and jumped the fan for full speed. It pulled the car forward.
