2010 RANGER 4WD

My Ranger won’t shift into 4WD when I activate the dashboard switch to the 4WD position. I don’t hear the normal “click” and the dial does not “light up” acknowledging a sussessful conversion? What do I look for? Fuse, relay, etc? Thank you

If you haven't used 4x4 in a while the transfer case motor may be stuck, slide under and give it a whack with a rubber hammer. Just a whack, you're not splitting wood.
