Hi there.
2010 Ranger ext cab, 4.0L auto 2wd with axle code 95 (3.55 ratio open diff).
I'm in Canada, and while Rockauto is awesome to order from its a pain to do returns so I'm trying my best to ensure I order the right part the first time.
Rockauto has a pile of options available for 'master kits' listed for 2010 to rebuild the diff. Clearly some arent applicable as they say they are for either a) the front diff or b) they seem to be for a 7.5" ring gear.
Local facebook marketplace has a unopened Timken DRK311MK kit for $100, but checking that part number says its only good to 2006 ranger diffs. Anyone know what changed in 2007?
So i have two questions:
1) Which of the 'master kits' listed at Rockauto are correct for my 2010 Ranger 8.8 Open rear Diff
2) Does anyone know if the Timken DRK311MK kit will work for my 2010 ranger 8.8 open rear diff?
