Basically pop the hood and on the drivers side, up near the firewall there is a fuse/relay box. Just in front of it there is a cover that pops off, exposing a huge connector with two studs and two 10mm nuts holding it on. That goes right to the battery. Undo one of the 10mm nuts, and using a ring eye crimped to the red wire of the CB, attach it. Cut/splice a "inline fuse holder" from the parts store in that same wire, install probably a 2a, maybe 5a fuse. Run that red wire into the cab. Find a switch you want, should have to terminals on it. Attach the end of the red wire that goes to the cab on one end of the switch, the other end will go directly into the CB (red wire). Then take the black wire from the CB and find a good ground either under the dash, or under the hood there are a few great grounding locations.
Mine is run straight to 12v all the time, since my radio has a on/off switch inside.
