my 4cylinder truck has a loose feel to it wen doing certain things such as turning while slowly(2 to 3 mph) rolling over speed bumps.. i feel like small clunks through the steering wheel.. the truck has about 40,000 miles. could the tie rod ends or inner joints need replacing? maybe something in the steering colum?

My first thought when you said "when I go over a speed bump" I first thought tire not on ground but then I started thinking, when you go over a speed bump or even a bump for that matter, the weight of the vehicle on the tire is less cause the force going up. The only thing standing between tires and truck from taking up this difference is the shocks. They can also clunk, in the shock or the rubber bushings gone bad.
So I would start there first, just my thoughts.

It's under warranty. Just take it to the dealer and make them fix it.

I can assume with 40,000 miles it past warranty, I think its 3 years / 36,000 miles on a standard warranty.

i actually have the 60,000 mile waranty so its still covered.. but i have taken it in a few times and they look at me like im crazy they say trucks jus drive rough..( no shit right) i dont have a problem wit my truck driving like a "truck" but i do have a problem with something feeling loose..:dunno:
