When the hell did 33s become big tires?

They aren't, they're small lol.
Some people thing they're big I guess.

Uh, thats your opinion. I hate seeing vehicles with a ton of space in the wheel well. Makes the tires look smaller than they are. If I don't have to lift, I want to avoid it.

I though 33's and cranked tbars looked pretty good. Hell if very little lift and big tires looks "ghey" my truck must look "super ghey"

Well, cranked my bars yesterday, looks soooo much better now. Getting the 33's next week. Hopefully the new wheels will be in soon as well.
