alright i have a 2006 f150 that i decided to put a sub in. i dont like any of the premade boxes out there so i decided to make my own i used one 4x8 sheet of 1/2 mdf and a whole lotta screws some carpenters glue and caulking to seal it ( no idea if thats right thing to use but its what i had)

unfortuanatly i dont have pics of making the actual box but all i did was take my measurements of how big i wanted it to be and where i could put the sub

i know its waaay too big of a box but i wanted the sub to be just above my armrest centered between the front seats. (also its not as big as it looks there is 3 walls inside the box to make it smaller)

also i dont like fiberglass shiny boxes or regular carpet wrapping so i hit up ebay and ordered some material to wrap it in

using some spray on adhesive i started spraying some glue on and laying out the material starting with the front pulling it tight to avoid wrinkles

i made sure that all my seams would be at the back and bottom that way you cant see them once its in the truck. here it is all wrapped up

the middle seatbelt sticks out of the rear wall so i had to make a recess in the box for it to fit

all done just waiting for everything to dry that way i can hear it.
i had heard it with just the 2 walls but it still wasnt small enough

and heres everything that is gonna go in

Can you take some shots of it inside the truck? And I'm really digging that camo pattern. :icon_thumby:

looks like a HUGE box

and i while i'm not a fan of the camo (just not my style), I must say you did a fantastic job wrapping it, looks perfect.

its is a huge box on the outside but not the inside and once i get finished making the fire ill go out and get a pic of it in the truck
