2006 3.0 to 2000 3.0

Anyone know if I can take a 2006 3.0 2wd motor and put into a 2000 3.0 4x4? I know I'll have to change a few things maybe oil pan and mounts. Also 2000 is flex fuel so may need to swap a few things there. But will it be plug and play as far as wiring? Thanks in advance

The 3.0l Vulcan engine was basically the same from 1986 to 2008

Best thing to do is to swap upper and lower intakes, not hard to do or expensive
You need the FF fuel injectors swapped over to 2006 engine in any case so might as well swap over all of it.
Then all the wiring will match up.

Yes, oil pan as well

Also change rear main seal anytime an engine is out
