2004 Ranger Edge Premium/Audiophile error code help?

Hi all,

I just purchased a 2004 ranger edge with the premium/audiophile 6 disc cd/mp3 player system installed, however I am having issues trying to get it working and am wondering if anyone has a manual or something pertaining to error codes for this head unit.

First of all, I couldn't load any cd's into the head unit after I purchased it. It would just spit out anything I tried to shove in. I disconnected the battery for 15-20 minutes and reconnected it with everything off in the vehicle to try to hard reset the system. After powering the vehicle back up the changer now said that slot 5 had a disc in it, so I hit the eject and selected disc 5 but nothing happened. After fiddling with the eject and trying all other discs loading and ejecting, an error popped up on the lcd display "Error B26B".

I have looked high and low around the net for this error code but cannot find anything. If anyone knows what this error code means or has any other means of finding out what it means, I would be very gracious.

the ford 6 disc indash changers have had a lot of these types of problems. just be lucky you dont have 6 discs stuck in the changer that wont come out! i replace at least one every two weeks at work with an aftermarket one and end up ripping them apart to remove the stuck cds. to be honest, i dont have a clue what the code means but i can assume that you have a problem with the magazine rack in the radio. its probably stuck or off track and cannot accept a cd.

Looks like that's what it was.. I just picked up a set of radio pullers and pulled it out. I reset the magazines and put it back in and can get 5 of the 6 cds to load now which is all fine by me. For some reason CD1 doesn't want to load but oh well. I can play cds now
