will a 2004 ford ranger single cab buckets seats, fit into a 97 single cab with the stock bench seat?its a 60-40 split xl vinyl. i can get the set for $50 and need to know befor they go.so please let me know what i need to do thanks!! also have a chance at 98 explorer seats that are cloth and power would they fit for $100:yahoo:?
what would be easiest? thanks

They should fit. If they don't, you should be able to easily sell them to someone who will be able to use them.

Many people on this site have done the explorer seat swap, though I don't know the differences in the tracks (if any) from the different years.

They may not bolt up, you might have to swap the rails.
My MazdaSpeed seats I made to fit my 94, didn't bolt up in my 98.

Well wish me luck i picked up some used 98 explorer seats cloth with power for $75 and am going to try and install them this weekend.. only problem is they are tan and my interior is grey. oh well seat covers should take care of that i guess..

well this blows goats! i took out my seats and the sliders are like welded into the top area of the seats so i went to the junk yard to take some out of a xlt and low and behold they dont fit my truck at all..... so i figured it was cause it being a extra cab was the reason and well nope its not i just need to find a xl model with removable brackets is all... does anyone sell them online so i can just mount them up to y truck without any issues?

Yay! The joy of seat swaps!

Cut em apart, fab something up, weld stuff, bolt it together, then bolt em in...

My Mazdaspeed seats took quite a bit of work.
