2004 FX4 fog lights

When I bought my 04 it didn't have the stock fog lights in the front bumper that came from the factory, and I have looked all over the internet for replacements, but they are all round. I have seen the square fog lights in ranger's bumpers but the internet swears up and down that they should be round... THE HOLES ARE SQUARE, HOW CAN ROUND BULBS FIT? anyways, does anyone know where I can find a set for a decent price? links would be great... thanks

If you bought your truck used, the previous owner must have removed the original valence where the fog lights go and replaced it with one from a non fog light 2WD one.

This is why the internet says round fog lights.

Also, for 04, LMC shows both a square and a round fog light. Looks like normal Rangers had the square ones, and the STX had the round one

Actually, my 2004 fx4 has square fog lamps stock, so I'm not sure what years correspond to what style, exactly.

2004- 2005 are square except stx which is round

thanks that is very helpful. what I was trying to say is yes there is a hole in my bumper where fog lights should be, but the previous owner removed them I guess.. and yes the holes are square. The only place I could find the fog lights was at the ford dealership and they wanted like 250$ for a pair so thanks I didn't think about LMC

Actually Im doing a write up thread "how to" tomorrow for rangers that are pre wired in the dash and installing the relay fuse bumper valance radio bezel and drop down wires you tap into to add power to oem fog lamps. The thread will be for rangers that didn't come with oem fogs and installing them to oem looks
