Hey Guys! Don't really know if this happens to a lot of trucks, but I'm hoping it happens often enough and there's an easy fix. My driver and passenger interior door "grab" handles (not sure exactly what they're called):icon_confused: are both loose. Is there an easy quick way to fix this? I'm guessing I'll have to take the door panels off, no worries there, but do I need any special tools to get this tightened? Any help would be great. Thanks!

take the panel off and tighten with a screwdriver, a cheap and simple fix!

Answer and a new related question

I just found this info online as an answer to this question.

According to the Ford TSB 05-1-3, you remove the front door trim panel finish panel. Then remove the screws at each end of the door pull handle and install a #6 (3.5mm) "external" star washer on each screw. The star washers have the star points located on the outer edge of the washer. Reinstall the panels in the door.

Hopefully that will fix it and keep it from falling out again.

My truck doesnt even have grab handles. My buddy zack always whines about it when were rallying around lost prarie. Bench Seat+No Grab Handles=Underthought design.
