2003 6 disc in-dash, ship mode?

Hello. I have a 6 disc in-dash receiver from an 03' Ranger that i'm about to sell. Do you have to put these radios in ship mode somehow before you ship them?

not sure what you mean by "ship mode" but no, its a plug and play device, just unplug it from the harness package and ship.

look it up online some have bolts that hold the carousel still as it travels. it just look like a bolt in the center of the case
