Hello,
I am new to having a ranger and it has a slight misfire when going up steep grades at low RPM's or when under a load at low RPM's. I have already changed the fuel filter, air filter, and spark plugs on the truck. Does anyone knopw what to do next or what to check this is very anoying when it starts to do this. If I floor it at low RPM's like under 3k it will do it and if I continue to keep it floored it will come out of it once the RPM's start to climb.

i have de same problem on my tryck and i change the wire set and no more problem

Try changing the ignition coil. I had the same problem.

PS It didn't throw a code for that problem.

Spray some water on the wires to see if the miss gets worse. I see more problems with wires than coils but coils come in a close second.
