I don't think so, I see nice clean newer Edge's going for that price. Kelly Blue book agrees with me too, They say its worth about $7600 and that's with all power windows, locks, etc.

i would say no. i got my 2000 ext cab for 4500 when it blue booked for 9200

I would say no I paid 10,500 for a 05 edge 2wd extended cab with only 35,000 miles on it. Kelley blue book set the value at 16,000 back in January. was a nice 05 4wd edge in the for sale forums about a month or so ago that was only 10k with 46,000 miles

i wouldnt pay that much especially since its a 3.0.

you could find the good fx4(02 and 03) for that price.

3.0 is a good engine, what it lacks in power it makes up in reliability and ease to work with, if it has 4.10 gears in it, it will have decent accel and power, i have pulled about 3000 pounds and it still has chugged right along in 5th gear at 60 mph people put alot of hate on that engine but until you own one you cant have an accurate opinion on it

I bought my 98 non-edge (non-stickers lol) 4X4 with manual windows/locks and a 3.0 for 3000 two years ago.


Aside from the 3.0 being so slow it seems like the truck might as well have a four banger, there's NO WAY I'd pay almost eight grand for one.

I bought my 2002 Edge Plus 4x4 Ext cab 4.0 for $9k. It is loaded and in great shape. I live in South Florida so there aren't a lot of 4x4 Edges or even Rangers around so I am sure I paid more than someone in GA or somewhere else would have. I wish I would have waited to get an FX4 though even though mine has LSD 4.10s etc.

Great truck...but I agree that the price is high...even low mileage and great shape don't justify paying nearly 10gs for an 8 year old truck...see if you can barter with them...

I've got the 2001 edge plus supercab 4x4 4.0, 8.8 axel, L/S, power everything.
i love it! if you can get the 4.0.

yeah that price seems way outta line... i would offer them 6 and see what they say... you should be able to find a 02 FX4 LII for less than that price

I loved my '02 Edge, real nice truck, drove and felt great. I had the 3.0 and it wasn't that bad, it sure was alot better then the 2.3 I have now. Oh and when I wrecked mine Ins. gave me $6200 and I think that's more then I coulda sold it for, I wasn't about to tell them that though.
