2000 to 2001 grille and light swap

is it possible to swap the grille and lights from a 2001 ranger into a 2000? i know i would have to pretty much switch everything, but im just curious if the mounting points are the same or at least similar.

Yes, I have done it. You will have anextra turn signal up front you can eliminate by getting an electronic flasher or taping over the bulb.

is this very difficult to do or is it a bolt on replacement minus one turn signal

Its a bolt on. If you want you can do it in phases. Like use the older bumper with the newer grill or the newer bumper/valance with the older grill. Its just as easy to bolt on an even newer style front end. I am driving a 2000 with a 04/05 front right now.

wow that looks amazing, im in plans of doing the bumper for the edge 03 bumper, but i might see if the 04 bumper valance is available, cuz it looks better than the 03, the lower bumper air inlet is more squared, looks way better

The fenders are the same from 98 up with the exception of the flare holes. There are also different holes for flares on the 07 up trucks. I bolted on the new header panel, headlights, corners, grill, bumper and valance. My hood is custom. Its a 01-03 powerdome or edge hood. I cut the front off so it would fit around the 04 style grill normally its straight across. A 04 hood could also be used, it will bolt on.
