2000 Ranger stock radio

This system has always worked flawlessly and sounds great to me.One morning recently got in the truck to go to work and the radio would not come on. Checked the fuse first and it is fine. Any suggestions?

It's most likely toast. Mine would light up, but wouldn't turn on. I replaced it with an aftermarket unit and it worked just fine.
