2000 Mazda B4000 - Need to find 4WD control module

Hello, I need to find the location of my 4WD shift control module on a 2000 Mazda B4000.

I looked behind the glove box and the passenger side kick panel and all I saw behind the kick panel was a white plastic module with "remote key entry/security" on it. I understand the 4WD modules are typically black.

Well I think I've figured it out on my own. By looking for the part, which incidentally appears to be the GEM multifunction control module (Center Dash). So does center dash mean that it resides behind or near the radio?

If that is the case what is the degree of difficulty in getting to it? Does it only require the removal of the radio console?
