Hello. Even though I am a new member on here, I been on here for quite a while browsing on all the forums. I have a question for everyone now. I think that I've decided to sell my Ranger and buy an F-150 due to my getting crappy gas mileage pretty much. I've been looking on all the big websites for F-150's and found a few to my liking. I guess what I'm asking is what you guys think I can get for my Ranger. Here is what it is.
-2000 Ranger XLT extended cab with the 4.0 V6, white.
-108500 miles
-3" body lift put on last summer
-31" tires on 15" wheels payed $900 for from tire barn, only 6000 miles on them.
-4 new ball joints and allignment
-Dual exhaust with glass pack
-The truck has all the options on the inside.
I think that's everything I can think of. KBB says about $7000 for it in clean condition but with out all the other stuff I put on it. I take very good care of it cleaning it out and washing it about once a week so I would say it's almost in excellent condition except for the few minor paint scuffs. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

I payed 5,800 for my 2000 (he was asking 6,400), that was with 57,000 miles about 5 months ago. It was completely stock 4x4 with a 3.0, flareside, extremely clean paint, and all the options. 7000 seems high for 108,500.

Yeah I just went to the KBB website and that's what it said so that's what I'm going by. I paid $6500 for it I think about a year ago and that was with a few problems like the power locks not working and tailgate handle broken, as well as me replacing a few more things that it needed. I don't know but maybe the price is affected by where you live. I live in east central Illinois so I don't know I guess.

You paid 6,500 and think that after a year of depreciation and miles you will get more...?

No, not if I left it stock. But since it's not stock I would like to at least get some of what I paid for it back out of it. I know I may not be able to get it all but some would be nice.

when you mod a truck or anything for that matter. unless you sell it to some on place like this your just trowing your money away as far as resale goes. and even if you sell it here your not reallly gonna get anywere close to what you put in to it. casue in the end it is just an old truck. (not saying your is old or anything but you get my point) and some mod's actuallly kill the value
