2 dumb hummer drivers

look like moto metal wheels of some sort.

id imagine without the proper approach angle and wheels any vehicle would have a hard time crawling up a wall of ice. i dont think there was anything dumb about this. if you wanna bash these guys, go try something like that with your truck.

my truck...thats a good one. in its current form it struggles on roads. anyway, i was just saying that with the ice and their tires they didnt have a shot in hell. Like you wouldnt take a lowered truck through a mudpit you shouldnt take a street truck through a river, especially with all of the ice. Sure, if you have people to help you out i guess why not but it seems like they didnt really think the whole thing through

Sticking to what you know you can handle is not the point of off-roading.

thumbs up for the second truck and thumbs down for the first truck. and plus offroading on ice like that suckssssssss. i did that once and got stuck so fast and will probably never try to push thro thick ice again. unless of course my rig is done

i guess so. idk i guess it doesnt really matter it just seemed kinda dumb to wheel a truck with street tires to that extreme. But i guess if its what you want to do why not

i give the second one props, Cooler IMO because its an H1, I'd hit that shit.

a ranger could of make it lol i would of hit it form the other side

ive been through deeper in my ranger without a snorkel and yeah id rock an H1 but not those newer plastic pieces of crap

I have to agree with calling these guys dumb... for a couple simple reasons and rules of off roading.

1. KNOW what lies ahead when possible. I would have walked to the edge first to find out how BIG the drop off is (might ) be before I decided to drive off the edge of an ice cliff. you can see that the drop is at least 14-16 inches on the first rig, and who knows 2 feet on the second....

and second and maybe more inportant.. if you are going to be attempting something like that you should be prepared and tie your tow hooks to your ass end before you drive over the ledge, at least that way you won't be swiming in a frozen river trying to hook your belts to your tow hooks after you get your ass stuck.

Can anyone translate this into english... and is there a part two of how they got them out? and who was the unlucky stiff that went swimming..... (just wondering)

and i had to add... finaly someone thought up a useful use for hummers... ice breakers

Pretty cool. I saw a yellow H1 today. Bitch looked sweet. Roof rack packed with camping gear, jerry cans, spare wheels/tires, and more antennas than your local Sheriff. You could tell he used it offroad.

See theres a difference from people that use it off road like your hummer and the people who do all this stuff just to look cool. Like Heavy duty winch bumpers on a stock truck, there are tons of them here...

In all fairness, I only saw one hummer and a glorified Tahoe.
