2.9 to 4.0 swap

does anyone know if you can change the intake on a 4.0 to the 2.9 intake so i can use the distributer from the 2.9.

The intake isn't the problem.

And no.

Now what is the point of wanting to use the distributor? I have found we can frequently provide far more help if we are given the desired end result, not just the parts the poster wants to swap.

search, search, search!! if your truck is a 91, all of the parts are out there to make this a 100% plug and play swap. no need to do things the hard way. all the info is already here in the forums, just gotta find it.
