2.9 swap question

What is involved in swaping a 2.9 into a 1994 3.0 can I just swap the harness under the hood is it a plug and play? Any help is great just trying to feel out my options it seams the 2.9 parts are easyer to find thanks.

the 2.9-3.0 swap is not a very straight forward process...different tranny or bell housing is needed, which may, or may not play into a different length drive shaft. a host of other stumbling blocks to boot.

mounts are different as well....in short just not recommended...not say it can't be done....just not economically
