2.8 Turbo question

i've posted in the turbo forum with no responses so i thought i'd try here.

i have a chance to purchase a Cologne 2.8 turbo engine. it is coming from a Panoz sports car imported here from Europe for an engine upgrade to a V8. this 2.8 V6 was running when pulled. i'm wanting to know about installing it in front of my 1983 Ranger 4x4. my truck currently has a 2.8 and 5 speed tranny in it. anyone have any experience at all with this 2.8 turbo motor??

i'm sure i would have to change out the cam to get the torque and horsepower coming in at lower rpms, but is there anything else?

I've never heard of one but if you do get it post some pictures of it.

well, gonna talk with the guys at the shop it's at. if they'll do the cam change and the install for me at the right price, i'll probably go for it. i'm not a mechanic at all and as this engine is very rare here in the US to say the least, my wife and i thought it best to let the pros do the rebuild and install it into my truck. should know more in the next couple of days.
