2.8 turbo question

hi. i have a chance to buy a 2.8 V6 turbo engine (complete) from a Panoz build. asking price is $500. any one know if this is a good buy and if it there will be any major mods needed to put it to my 1983 Ranger 4x4. it currently has a 2.8 and 5 speed manual tranny and manual transfer case. thanks in advance.

well, i know this turbo'd 2.8 Cologne engine came from Europe, but no one on here has any experience with one? any info would help. thanks.

buy it why the heck not what do u have to lose 500 bucks and sometime just make sure you get the ecu!

thanks for the link, that helped a lot. my only concern now is getting parts for it if i ever need some!? still haven't decided if i'm getting it or not.
