Start out with a stock 2.8 intake 2bbl---What I did was deck the surface of the intake down as low as I could get it.It was then all cut out like you see it with the big holes in the intake. Then it was all welded up and resurfaces down smooth again. Then I counter bored the intake holes down in the intake so when I used the allen head bolts they would go down flat with the surface of my intake. When I put the bolts in the intake I used a little sealer around them. Then I made the gasket and put it on top of the intake. The spaceris 1''thick CV Product number CV157 390 Style 1.000'4 holes I used 2 of them.Itook the 1 plate and cut the coners off it so it wouldn't be so big and get in the valve covers. Then put the 1 plate on top of the intake. You have to drill the 4 holes in the 2 plate I used the holes that hail down the EGR plate. Then you make the other gasket and put it on top of the 1 plate and then put the 2 plate on,you counter bore the holes in the second plate so the allen bolts will go down flat. Then put on the FEL-PRO NUMBER 1909 gasket on and put your card on.And you be ready to go.You have to take a lot of time with the welding work don't try to do it to fast or you could be looking another intake. You can see my intake at

Awsome truck James! I like the paint job...were those trophies recent?

They were back in 2005 when and first finish the truck All this work on this truck was gone by me-----The interior was the only thing I couldn't do.

Good stuff...! So the intake was a recent mod?

The intake was made back when I did the truck---It was put and the TRS A long time ago but when they were having site trouble and change sites it got lost.So I put it back on this one.
