I think that's the way I want to go, take my time in pulling the Donor engine and tranny out of my '93 Splash, pull the current 93 xl engine, fix the splash ring gear, assemble and stuff it in. I drove the splash fron 114k to 150 k and liked the motor...The chasiss and body failed finally here in New England.
Any more hints from those experienced in this simple Remove & Replace swap?
